See DA Inquisition - still hasn't been cracked properly and you simply can't import saves.
That's because DA is crap.

Besides, the whole world and their aunt will want to play GTA IV, so it's not like there won't be n release groups hoggling over who releases the first stable cracked version of the game anyway.

And with the smallest size possible (even if the installation takes 2 hours).

Judging by those sliders and res, what swallows VRAM are the quality settings. Hmmm looks tasty.

Is that Steam activated? I'm still wondering if I should get this game or not.

On one hand, this would be the perfect game to test my rig on until the Witcher 3 comes out. I just don't like the crime focused storyline and characters.

Nope. You'd still need to sign in through their Social Club service even if you bought it from Steam, though. Biggest advantage I see is getting automatic updates.

I already bought it once when it came out on the 360. For some reason I couldn't get myself back into it once I finished the main storyline; meanwhile I've played through GTA4 four times so far.

Sometimes I just feel like going up a building and shooting everything that moves below. Not a fan on how Rockstar changed the Wanted mechanism.

Most likely, but there was a 780 variant with 6gb. it was never really hyped or took off. A few AMD cards as well. 980 ti can't get here fast enough. I want to play this as close to max settings as possible.

I've been reading up a bit on that RSS thing, and apparently there are activation limits; even if you have the Steam version as the game still uses RSS!

I thought activation limits went the way of the dodo when Starforce/Securom etcetera died...

Yup,i do notice this is for 4k resolution so i am willing to bet the 2gb 760 recommendation still has some truth to it for.Maybe the 3gb cards could pump 1440p resolution or 1080p with lots of MSAA?

Might actually be a good port for once,i do admire the AA options which i found disappointing not being in GTA4 so there is a win there already.

Personally i will be playing this on 1gb 7750 and Pentium G630 at 1600x900. Should be fun hearing my PC cry
Guessing this was being run on a Titan ? Only GPU I can think of with 6GB VRAM.

I don't know a single person who wants to play GTA IV. None of my kids do, I don't, no one at work could give a shit either.

It's an overhyped X rated piece of crap.

I am curious as to whether its worth it to purchase on steam or Green Man gaming given the discount with Green man gaming currently.
I wish Steam would discount.....

Since you have to sign up and play through Rockstar Social Club even if you buy through Steam, GMG is a good deal IMO.

hmm... i'll probably be playing at 1050p at most 1080p. still rocking the original gtx 780 w/ 3GB. here's hoping that it'll run decent... I'll disable AA if I have to... as long as I hit the 60!!!

There are NOT many games where TXAA looked good, most of the time TXAA looked like utter shiate. But in those few games where it worked well (Tombraider I think was one of them) it looked VERY good. I hope that their TXAA implementation is one of the better ones.

That being said...not sure about the "6GB" Vmem thing here, there is no question that the majority of people DO NOT have 6GB of video memory. (Let me throw a guess there...90% of people will have 4GB or even 2GB cards. The number of people with R290X 8GB I consider....small....)

1) Why would anyone play GTA IV when they can play GTA V next week.

2) Assuming you're talking about GTAV, if you had no interest in the game, stay out of the thread that is clearly about the game you have no interest in. I know quite a few people who are interested in it for PC.
