Yea I was on my lunch hour and didn't want to waste time. Apparently did some searching online and if you go to targettradeinprogram.com and put in your zip code it tells you where you can do the trade in. I'll try and go to another one after work.

Went to target by my job and they would not do the trade in for me. They told me this store isn't doing it even though its in their ad and I pointed it out to them. Neither the manager or the employee who was new didn't know why. Gave me a location of a target 15 miles away that is doing the deal. Not going to bother.

That's ridiculous. I know in the fine print it says "at participating locations", but I didn't expect any of the stores to actually not participate. How would that even be decided?

According to googling it's the targets with the mobile center that are doing it. When I put my work zip in that website it listed all the stores except the one I just went to. It's weird because this store also participated in the buy 2 get 1 free deal.

I think those stores just might not be set up to take any trade ins. I did a check and thankfully the one I was going to was on the list. I'd have been extremely pissed if I went to Target and they refused it. I likely would have ended up getting the trade, but only due to me refusing to take no for an answer. I hate being forced to mingle with the "Target crowd".

No you just put your zip in there and go to a store that's listed. They give you a $30 coupon for it. You can use it to get the ps4 or Xbox 1 version. I went to another target before leaving work and got the ps4 edition since my friend also got it for that system too.

I guess I got lucky. I walked in to my local target and did the trade without issue. I thought their trade in set up was really amateur though. She had to bring up the website and fill out my information on the computer and then printed a slip on a cheapo ink jet printer before she walked me back to the register to do the trade.

Yup that's what they do at the mobile centers in target. I had to wait almost 35 minutes because a mother and her daughter were buying iPhones and had a ton of questions. When they finally purchased they had to have the guy help them set up the phones and bring all their content to the phones. There was only one mobile guy there so it was annoying. I haven't had a chance to open the game yet.

I did the trade in at target, 5 minutes no hassles. Haven't had the chance to play the game yet.

Well launch night I didn't have any problems with this game but ever since I have a ton of problems with GTA Online. Takes forever to load, when I join a friend game it either times out or puts me in another game. Even if their game had empty slots. If I do manage to get into their game I get booted or everyone in the world gets booted and its just me.

Anyone notice in ps4 it seems the character moves kind of slow? I can't remember how it was on ps3. But it probably is the same and maybe I forgot.

So, finally made it to Target and I missed the promotion. Oh well, Target doesn't deserve my money anyway with how rude the lady was about it.

I got both, GTA 5 is by far much more fun, but Watch Dogs does have slightly better character motion, that's about it.

Yeah I had both on Xbox One - I felt like watch dogs was a downright terrible game. Looked okay visually as you'd mentioned - but other than that....

Really liking all the subtle touches they added to the first person mode. I got the game on XO, and it runs very smoothly for 30fps. I couldn't stand the stuttering GTA V had on 360, but they ironed it out on the newer platform. I usually avoid 30fps games since it feels pretty slow, but Rockstar got vsync working nearly perfectly. Frame drops only occur during heavy traffic scenes (cpu bottleneck?). There have been a few times where it seems like fps is above 30fps for a couple seconds, before dropping back down. Wish it were 60fps, but oh well...

I played Watch_Dogs for PC (so not fair comparison) and it does have higher resolution textures, models, water; but the game's atmosphere, lighting, dumb traffic, and repetitive random events got tiring/boring.

A few things I wish they added/fixed:

- Windshield wipers during rain/storms in first-person mode.
- Slightly less aggressive DoF.
- Taking cell phone out in first-person mode changes field of view to default until putting back in pocket.
- Slightly long online loading times (not surprising though...)

Can't wait for the PC version its gonna be a great modding playground :)

Not really that impressed so far on the ps4. I still have framerate drops when driving fast, and the draw distance doesn't seem to be that much improved at speed. I still see a lot of pop in when driving fast. The game itself is still solid, I just expected better performance based on reviews and other opinions.

I've noticed quite a bit of frame drops too while driving or when there is a lot of action. The characters also move a bit slow at times or it may just be me. The pop in is less than the previous version that's for sure. The game does look great though. I'm enjoying playing it again but I think the last of us remastered runs a lot better.

That's really not a fair comparison because they are two different games.

One of the downsides of running games in higher resolution is LOD transitions become more obvious. So not only does the GPU need to work harder rendering twice the pixels but the developer is also pressured to push LOD out further to avoid those jarring transitions like you get in Assassin's Creed games.

IMO first person mode is really tough. When in first person, I kick into FPS gaming mode and expect my health the regen and such. Nope. Forgot that health is very finite in GTA5. I wish they had an option to do full health regen instead of health packs. That would make this game sooooooo much better in FPS mode. I've already beaten it on PS3, so I just want to have fun.

The aiming is kind of strange too. It doesn't have much auto aim where you just sit the cursor in the general area and shoot like in destiny. You have to be spot on with the tiny bead to hit them. You can use the left trigger snap aiming, but that is really weird in FPS mode.

Will probably get the PC version on sale after release for the mods. Health regen + >60fps will be great.

What games do you play that makes you rely on health regen?

In GTA 5 just buy some foods/drinks at stores and open inventory and eat or drink some while you're in cover to regen, I'm 24/7 in FPS in GTA 5 and it's a whole different experience over the typical GTA 5 perspective, and driving in a car is almost like playing a driving game but the car physics aren't quite there.

And its auto aim is extremely annoying that I changed it to free aim, the partial one is the worst which screws up your look sensitivity but full auto aim is the one you're talking about which snaps to targets (usually the WRONG target that you're shooting at).
