GTA 5 gameplay for ps4/one(1080p/30 fps and first person mode)

I don't like it. I guess I suck at controlling these games. I had to replay Franklin's missions a couple times because I just can't drive. I went ahead and threw it on CL looking to trade it for Far Cry 4.

I hear far cry 4 is just like far cry 3 with better graphics and mechanics. I think ill get it after work today.

This should be interesting for me, I just bought an Xbox One last weekend and have only played the previous versions of GTA on PC (in fact this is my first real console other than the Wii we have). I am still just getting used to the controller as opposed to mouse+keyboard that I have been gaming with forever.

what's so bad about the control? i just find that kind of odd considering it's big feature is playing in first person, but you say you are going to get FC4 which is an FPS.

driving in general in gta games has always been crap though, if that's what you are referring to. gta is known for having a lot of things to do in the game, but all of them don't feel polished at all and just mediocore. they don't do anything perfect imo, but just good enough to add it to their list of features.

From what the reviews say, driving in FP mode is pretty tough in this game and most recommend to drive in 3rd person if they don't want to have to crank the sensitivity down to compensate. The rest of FP mode is pretty highly regarded, but if Rage was driving in FP mode that might have been what set him off. Even people who have played the last gen version said the driving is tough in FP mode.

Hopefully the pc version will have better handling physics - at least the mods will be able to tweak it.

I remember modding the car physics in gta3 years ago to beat the insane jump challenges...good times

Driving in 1st person is tough, I crashed left and right. I'll stick to it tho til I get the hang of it. So far I'm happy with my purchase even tho I couldn't transfer my player and had to start from scratch

Picked up the target deal. I've never had trouble controlling GTA driving. I liked the changes they made in GTA4 and was glad they carried them into GTA5.

The target deal is all week? When does it end? Waiting on my friend to drop off my ps3 copy and going to trade it in for the ps4 version as I have no friends on Xbox one that have it.

Motorcycles handle great in GTA5 but the cars not so great, the steering is way too sensitive but I've gotten used to it and can drive now no problems but going to another game like Forza Horizon 2 or one of my racing games on PC, it screws me up. lol

Been playing pretty much 100% of the time in FPS.

I turned off aim assist and shooting people is so much better without it.

If anyone doesn't have one of these to trade in and wants an unopened copy for the system of their choice for $40, I'd be more than willing to do this. I really want to buy the digital copy, rather than the physical, so this allows both of us to get it for $40 (You pay $40, I pay $80 total, but get $40 from you). =)

Same here. I'm going during my lunch hour since its right across the street from my building. This time I'll play through and choose different options for the hiests.

Went to target by my job and they would not do the trade in for me. They told me this store isn't doing it even though its in their ad and I pointed it out to them. Neither the manager or the employee who was new didn't know why. Gave me a location of a target 15 miles away that is doing the deal. Not going to bother.

I'd take it up with a higher manager at that Target. They have it in their ad, I'd force them to honor it.

Game stop did it for the last of us and target had a deal last week if you traded in gta v on last gen towards next gen they gave you $30.
I'm guessing there will be but with the black Friday deals going on not sure when or who will do it.

was this advertised? I can't find it on their site.
