GTA 3 problem

Hi, i tried to run GTA 3 again and well it did run the first time i started it but then i changed the resolution and put it up too high (1600x1200) and it crashed. Now it wont even start the game at all it just shows the Rockstar logo on the desktop and thats it (well now it dosent even do that at all), ive reinstalled it, tried to run it in 640x480, uninstalled it using the windows uninstaller and reinstalled again. Still nothing works HELP!!! 🙁

Specs are:
A64 3200+ clawhammer
1GB RAM
2 x 160GB HDD
Sapphire Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB
