One of my relative just decided to gift his 12 year old lad with $ 120 GPU as a birthday gift. He asked me which one to opt to and I couldnt answer him well. I figured him out about these two but couldnt press on which one to. Thought I might take help from here.

His present config is-
Intel i5 3570K
ASRock Z77 Extreme4
Antec EarthWatts EA550-D Green
CM HAF 912 case

I dont think other details are required. Some things to keep in mind while replying are:-
1.His father will not increase the budget, strictly no.
2.He cant think of buying GTX or other mid ranged cards. Till the last month
he was contented with the inbuilt HD 4000 graphics of his "Ivy Beast" but now it aint sufficient for him.
3.No SLI/CFX.Never,EVER!!!
4.No preference for brand.
5.Will appreciate latest GPUs only as they are way more efficient than previous generation.

ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT. Thanx beforehand.

I like my 7750, its a great budget card and very low power.

depends on where you are purchasing.

also at that price range, you can find a 6850 on sale AR. for ivybridge, even the 30% boost of the 6850 would be significant enough.

@Durvelle27 - I think MSI will be my recommendation.

Onething I just couldnt overlook was in your RIG s config -
Gaming: i5-3450|ASRock Z77 Extreme4| Corsair Vengeance 8GB(2x2GB) 1600MHz|Cruical M4 128GB SSD|Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB|Vaper-X HD 7770|OCZ 700w|Antec Three Hundred Illusion|Lite-ON Blu-ray 3D burner

I guess its a typo.
