I have 2gig of both patriot and Gskill and was wondering which would be the best to use.

The specs for the Patriot:
Speed DDR2 667 (PC2 5300)
Cas Latency 4
Timing 4-4-4-12
Voltage 1.8V

Specs for the G Skill:
Speed DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Cas Latency 5
Timing 5-5-5-15
Voltage 1.8V - 2.0V

I know the Gskill has faster speed but the latency is higher. So which set would you put in your system? Both is not an option btw.

what processor do you have?
do you run F@H or any other DC program?
do you care about theoretial gains in performance or real-world gains?

Doesn't matter which cpu you have, at stock settings, you dont need more then DDR2-667 w/ 1:1 ddr:fsb... but then again revert to my 2nd question and that could change things.

Slightly off topic but what gain would a DC program see?

Need a little help with CPU-Z:
When I bring it up and look at the memory tab, it shows:
DRAM Freq:266.7
FSB:DRAM 1:1
4
4
4
12
2T

The SPD tab shows my memory to be:
PC2-6400 (400MHZ)
G.Skill
F2-6400PHU1-1GBHZ

Timngs Table shows:
JEDC#1
266MHz 4.0 4 4 10 12 1.8V
JEDEC#2
400Mhz 5.0 5 5 15 18 1.8V

EPP#1 shows:
400Mhz 4.0 4 4 12 24 2T 2.100V

My MB is set to 350 fsb x7 and memory system Memory Multiplier is set to 2:2

So I'm a bit confused as to what the memory tab is telling me!

Any help (clarification)?

My MB is a Gigabyte GA965PDS3 and memory is G.Skil
