GS5 Ears buds

How on earth do you get the ear buds that come with the s5 stay in your ears? If I try to adjust the volume or skip to the next song they come out. I am almost screwing the darn things in my ear and they still eventually pop out.

While probably not the answer you want, you're better off investing in some better quality in-ear monitors with multiple sizing pads.

Thanks any suggestions? I just found me earphone from my iphone. The volume control on them doesn't seem to work on the g5.

While I can't say for the GS5, but the ones that came with my Galaxy Nexus were like what you're describing.

Sony makes some decent cheapo in-ear buds. I like my Shures, but they're not exactly cheap.

I wish everyone would just standardize on headset controls. iPhone headset controls don't work on Samsung devices. Samsung headset controls don't work on HTC devices. Ugh.

I have also found this out the hard way. I finally switched to a pair of Bluetooth headphones. I use the LG Tone 730. They are relatively inexpensive at $70. I wrote a little article about them as well as some other devices I use regularly they may be of help. However, I cant post it here. so PM me if you want more info.

The earbuds that come with current Samsung phones are actually pretty decent and IMO better than the stock Apple buds. They are the soft plastic seal-in type and the box should have contained several different sizes for the soft plastic for you to get the right fit for your ear.

I hear ya. I don't even know how they don't work as the plugs are the same. Must be some odd internal wiring on the volume control.
