GS3 screen protector adds weird pattern, any suggestions on good ones?

So I put a ghost armor screen protector on my gs3 (actually got it over the entire body) and it adds this weird rainbowy/noisy pattern that's noticeable on lighter backgrounds. I thought I would get used to it but's it's still annoying me after about 2 weeks so I think I'm going to replace it with another screen protector, maybe a dry application one. Can anyone recommend something? I was thinking of getting one from SGP but I've never tried them before so I'm not sure about them but they have good ratings and reviews.

I wouldn't use one, the SGS3 is Gorilla Glass 2 so there is very little chance of anything scratching it. I never used one on my Galaxy S2 and quit using them on my Captivate and neither of them have a single scratch.

the chance of scratching exists, and how much harder is GG2 than GG1? I have scratches on my Milestone, iPod Touch, Nexus S, and HTC Titan 2. On all of those devices I saw the first microscratch within 2 months.

I say it depends on your use pattern. I don't work out with sand or anything, but just one speck will mess your screen up.

The OP asked for a good screen protector, so I would recommend the Steinheil Optics screen protector. SUre these scratch more than a GG screen but at least you can replace them. Their ultra optics one is pretty good. You can also opt for an oleophobic one but in my experience the coating doesn't last that long. However, fingerprints can be more disruptive than the coating itself, so in that sense the oleophobic has an advantage.

Yeah in my experience gorilla glass isn't immune to scratches, I stopped taking risks with my last phone because I would always end up with small micro-scratches on the screen. I'll give the steinheil ones a try, I don't mind replacing them but I don't like the degradation the ghost armor one has on the optics.

there's definitely no rainbow/messed up colors/color shift with the ultra optics. i think the oleophobic was good too. I used that on my Nexus S. I used the matte one with my Titan 2 which is good for no fingerprints, but matte screens ruin the quality of screen.

Make sure you get a "clear" protector and not a "matte" one. I had this same issue until I switched.
