So I have been looking for some extra storage for the past week and had been holding out for a decent deal. Staples today has a 200 GB HD for $60 free shipping. So its like $80 and then enter a coupon code. I haven't order from them before so I go through all the trouble of adding all my information and then I enter the code and it is not valid. So I give them a call "We are having technical difficulties and that coupon code isn't working right now", yeah right then why keep advertising it on your website? Why do companies do stuff like this it just ends up pissing people off.

sorry just needed to rant.

Weak rant.

Since you had them on the phone, you probably could've just ordered it that way, and then they could've manually taken the $ amount of the coupon code off.

No they offered to let me order it at the 80 dollar price and then refund my CC later this week.

because if they can't get the coupon code right, why would i trust them to refund the money?

update: I called and complained a bit and finally they offered to charge me the price with the coupon code, kinda frustrating but a decent deal none the less, just sucks that a big company like staples would continue to advertise a coupon code that doesnt work.
