GRRRRR first day on pager duty rotation and I get woken up at 1am because a T1 is flaking out

ok, switch that T1 over to our service. You wont get those pages anymore. We fix it for you.
And the flip side is, if you DO get those pages, you can just chew my ass and feel better.

Pager duty blows... I have the pager every other month it seems.. for a full week..

Its not uncommon to be up from like 7 pm to 3-4 am doing work, and then going into work all day and doing it again. Its pretty stressful on a family also, even if it is only a week at a time.
