I'm so damn mad right now. Some piece of worthless garbage hit my car (2002 Nissan Maxima) while it was parked, leaving a big ass paint mark on the corner of the left rear bumper, and chipping off some paint on the metal part of the body right near there. I noticed it while getting out of the car at the store, but that's not where it happened. It either happened at my apt complex, or at some store I was at earlier. Damn this fvcking pisses me off!!!!!!!!!! Why the hell couldn't this piece of garbage leave a note, wait, something? :|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|

I was waiting to hear the story about the brown skid mark on your window....

This is why you don't spend such great amounts of money on a car you intend on parking in public. Want to splurge on a car and keep damage to it from raising your blood pressure? Keep it in a private garage YOU own whenever you arent driving it. Outside of that, you're taking your chances.

sorry for your loss.

How in the hell am I going to keep my car in a private garage when I go to the grocery store? The more I look, it wasn't the car at my apartment, it's the wrong color. A green car parks next to me, whatever got me was white or beige.

People suck, that's all I gotta say. I always park my car in the middle of f*cken no where, but some how this week, one of my doors got scratched. I mean sh*t, someone had to go out of their way to screw me up.

My car is a 2003 accord and I wanted to buy like a G35, but thinking about this, I don't think it's a good idea anymore because inevitably someone will be a f*cktard and mess it up. I wish I could mount a tesla coil on top of my car and electrocute anyone who walks within 15 feet of it.

Weird thing is, I don't even recall parking that close to anyone. I always pull into spots that don't have people next to them. And my car was alone when I came out of both places I went today. That means someone pulled it, hit it, then left before I got out of the store. Damn asshat!!!!!!11

Yeah, it's OK to damage other people's property as long as that property's not expensive.

It doesn't matter if he's driving a rusted out Pinto, if someone else hits it, they need to leave a note. He shouldn't be forced to have less than he can afford just because other people are assholes.

I've noticed a trend. If you park your car away from other cars, people will park near you. If you park with the rest of the herd, the big open spaces will continue to be open.

I don't think the type of person that dings cars like this likes to park by himself.

Yeah serious. Some guy at my work drives an IS300 that is in mint condition. He said last week he parked in the middle of nowhere, but when he came out to the lot, some beater van was parked right next to it.

God damn dumbasses, get the f*ck away from my sh*t.

Welcome to the club.

This fcker couldn't fit into the parking spaces even though everyone else can. So they pulled in, scraped my car going forward, then realized how dented my door was and pulled out, scraping the door farther back. Great example of a good driver, huh? Of course they didn't leave a note, either. So now I have two huge dented scrapes in the side of my car, and they probably just park their white car on the other side of the parking lot now.

Deal with it. We live in a country where people can justify driving drunk lol. WTF did you expect? Buy a thousand dollar beater and keep your nice car in a garage attached to a house. If you dont have that, buy cheaper cars or suck it up until you can do the aformetioned. I'm sorry, but this is just one of the many caveats of living in a society that does not support government mandated sterilization.

Please don't think I by any means condone what happened, but really... you need to get over it....

Why the hell would I buy a car to keep in a garage? First, I don't even have a garage because I live in apartment. Second, I drive my car because it's my only car. I don't have the money to spend on a good car, and then leave it in a garage. This isn't a friggin Ferrari we're talking about, it's just a Nissan Maxima, something you drive every day. Why would I have a Maxima, and then a beater car to drive? Makes no sense.

It has happend to me. I realized that my car is not a second presence of me, that it's a piece of equipment and from that day forward, I have vowed not to spend more money on a vehicle than I be able to handle seeing destroyed before my eyes.

Um... millions of homeowners all over the country keep cars in the driveway and in garages. If you need to protect your car from every little ding and scratch to keep from emotional trauma, you need a garage. I know, it sucks, but you should be looking at this as wear and tear..... look on the bright side. When someone hits you where the damage is, you can smile knowing youre car will soon look like new. <shrug>

As the OP said, this is not a Ferrari that we're talking about here. This is a common family car. I think that it is entirely unreasonable to expect that he wouldn't drive it everywhere, and it's entirely reasonable to react this way to having one's property damaged.

As I said before, it doesn't matter if the car is a beater or not, he still has every right to be angry that other people are too damned inconsiderate.

You make no frigging sense dude. The car was NOT HIT AT MY APARTMENT. It was hit at a parking lot of a store. I went to three stores today, and was in each for about 10 minutes. That's not a lot of time. What the hell am I going to do, tow a friggin shed with me wherever I go?

I have a right to bitch about this, some moron hit my car, yet you come into the thread trying to tell me I'm wrong for being pissed that someone hit my car? Why the hell does some asstard ALWAYS have to crap on your thread, regardless of the topic? I swear, I could start a thread being sad about my dog dying, and some dipshit would come in and tell me to get over it.
