WHAT?

If this is an attempt at wittiness, then I'm sorry but it failed as badly as the guy who wrote the article when he tried to make a point.

Sounds like a pro-Napster reviewer who still wants to live back in the Napster Heydays... he just sounds as if he is bitter for any of the new generation sharing proxies.... it seems to me as if he wants Napster, and only Napster.... you know the type... they're everywhere:

PS2/GC/XBOX/CONSOLE/PC fanboys

PS2/GC/XBOX/PC is the best, XBOX/PS2/GC/PC sux0rs.... "Have you ever played the XBOX?" - No way man, it's all about the PS2, I'd never touch an XBOX

What's your point? The article is misinformed and totally biased. Do you have something intelligent to say or comment about 'wittiness'?

<< After I downloaded the program, it took me about ten minutes just to figure out what was going on with its little satellite utility >>

Haahaa, goddamn what a dumbass :D

I knew "what was going on" before I even downloaded it, then it took about ten seconds when I typed band name in the search, pushed the little satellite button and I was downloading stuff... gee that was hard.

<< Things got even uglier once I started downloading songs. Typical download speeds seem to be around 20 to 30 Kbps, and up toward 100Kbps if you're lucky. At that pace, it takes anywhere from two to ten minutes to download a single song. >>

Ummm yeah, and that is the fault of Audiogalaxy... damn this guy is dummmbbbb.

<< My verdict? Audiogalaxy may as well be tossed on the scrap heap alongside Napster and any other label-friendly programs. >>

IMHO Audiogalaxy is just as good as Napster if not better, their pages just act weird sometimes...

For all the uninformed people who use Audiogalaxy (or iMesh or Bearshare) a little hint -

They contain SPYWARE

AudioGalaxy contains webHancer, if you are stupid then please continue using AudioGalaxy or the other spyware infected crud after reading this. If you have any intelligence then you will immediately hit CTRL-ALT-DEL and find the "webHancer" or "web3000" entry and hit "End Task". Then you will go to "Add/remove programs" and get rid of webHancer and AudioGalaxy (or others).

Then go to www.lavasoftusa.com and download "Ad-Aware" and run it on your computer to remove any further spyware.

Anybody who complements AudioGalaxy knows nothing about what they are saying.

Use Morpheus or WinMX, they care about your privacy and wont infest your computer with virus like spyware.

Cheers

I use both morpheus and AG, but I like to think I spyware-proofed mine by just end tasking it whenever I want to use it.

Stupid people should NOT write reviews!

I used Napster. Then I tried Audiogalaxy, and haven't looked back. That thing RULES! If it took that reviewer 10 minutes to understand how to use it, for me it was like 10 seconds. Start Audiogalaxy Satellite, go to the web-page, search for music, click the satellite icon, wait for the music to download. It just doesn't get any simpler than that!!!! If he can't figure that out, then what the hell is doing writing reviews???

you do realize, that after you uninstall webhancer, there is no more spyware. right? anybody with some common sense would have a decent firewall proggy so it wouldn't matter anyways, and just uninstall webhancer. very simple.

Anybody who complements AudioGalaxy knows nothing about what they are saying.

compliments. anyways, once you realize you can just uninstall webhancer, you'll also come to realize that audiogalaxy has the most music files. thus making it a damn good choice.

Use Morpheus or WinMX, they care about your privacy and wont infest your computer with virus like spyware.

virus like? do explain.

like i said earlier, just uninstall webhancer... no need to get your panties all tied up over it.

dannysreview~!

okay, this guy obviously doesn't know what he's doing. Software isn't obviously his specialty. If it took him 10 mins to figure out, he shouldn't even be on a damn computer. He is being a total idiot.

"The Web-based interface made me click through three or four pages just to select a song to download. Probably just a cheap ploy for pageviews, but downright annoying. I've bought plane tickets in less time. "

that there is a load of crap. I have no idea in what crap he is reffering to, you simple enter the name in the search function, click on the satellite icon and thats it, if available, it'll transfer. Restorting to the FAQ confirms he is a n00b in "my book"

I'm sorry, but this guy is being completely biased as a first time user. He will always be a first time user beacuse he simply doesn't know about software. I think this program is extremely useful, the satellite acts of some sort of server or ftp if left opened. Just cause he had trouble figuring it out doesnt mean that its not useful. He simply just didn't know. so, gopunk, i agree with you, he doesn't know what he's talking about.

danny~!

Life After Napster
by Diablo Rojo 17 Aug 2001

Diablo Rojo used to be an champion wrestler in Tijuana, until the surly and unscrupulous Villano III used his illegal sleeper hold that put Rojo in a two-year coma. Now he writes about online music and cultivates exotic yams.

the guy who reviewed it is an ex-wrestler, what more do you need to know about his intelligence.
