What gives here? I've got two other computers in this house (including one sitting not 3 feet from the one that won't work) that can find and use my home network just fine. I bought one for a friend of mine though - who wants to set up a small network in his own house - and thought I would install and test it, since it's his computer that's sitting here. It installed beautifully, but I can't get it to connect for nothing. I have checked the SSID and WEP key several times, and it just won't work. Suggestions?
PS: followed Linksys's install instructions to the letter. This is a Windows XP system, so according to the sheet I don't need the "utility" that comes with the drivers. XP should be able to handle the card itself. It does on my other two computers - only difference there are Netgear USB adaptors, rather than Linksys.
