GRRR! my outlook express has taken the shi#

For some unknown reason my outlook express doesn' work anymore. I click on it and it just hangs there and it says MSIMN is not responding. Can anyone help me? I installed Outlook Express 5.5, and 6 to see if that would work, but so far no DICE! HELP ME!

I remember the same thing happening to me..

I thought it was my HD hanging.. but it was the program..

It pissed me off to a point where I just did Format and Reinstall..

I installed Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002 and it also lagged too..

go to find files and lookfor folders.dbx
delete folders.dbx

try opening outlook express

Have you tried actually uninstalling the program before installing the others?

I've uninstalled ... reset... installed.. reset.. and tried it.. but it still lagged.. or froze..

dont ask me why ..

i just did the usually format and reinstall and it works great ^ ^

Your personal mail file could be corrupted. I know this can happen in Outlook, not sure about Outlook express...

damn i removed the program from the control, and reinstalled blah blah, blah, etc

i dont use Oulook but it has taken over mycomputer... I have little envelope icons everywhere and they randomly open and tell me to save to disk or open.... i think i have a virus... i can open up ms words, but cant save files or open seperate files... wordpad doesnt work either...
