WinXP HOME? :Q

*harrumph!*

Turn in your Geek Card, Mister! WE are very disappointed in you! Might as well run Win98 and not SE, either!

you can make a shortcut or batch file to run this

rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation

especially useful if you don't have a windows button keyboard

Hmm... I have XP Home and when I Ctrl-Alt-Del, there's a button to lock it. I think you have to use the older log in option, not the newer welcome screen login, otherwise, yeah, you get the task manager.

correct. if you disable the welcome screen it should come up with the ctrl-alt-del window.

And if you hit ctrl-alt-del twice at the login screen, you can type in your account name. Good for logging in as administrator, or into a hidden account. :)
