Since i own my own domain, i use *.*@mydomain.com depending on the site so i can trace where i get spam from....

Just this past week i started getting spam to usps@mydomain.com, the email addy i use ONLY at the post office. I run Adaware/Spybot twice a week and norton is updated regularly and autoscans every friday night at 8pm :)

Hmmmmm.....

Well that's one way for USPS to recoup losses from people sending e-mails rather than letters. ;)

A lot of spammers have software that automatically guesses email addresses. Since usps@*.com isn't a hard address to guess, you were probby guessed.

Change your usps address to usps234324@*.com and you probby won't get more spam. Though, if you do, you would really know something is up.

I have "catch all" accounts on all my domains as well, I get emails to addresses ive never used before, spammers send to all kinds of generated usernames, hoping to get a hit on a domain. If I get spam sent to something obvious, and impossible to guess (like my last name, which is very uncommon) then its because someone sold me out. If its something random, like admin@mydoimain, or ebay@mydomain then i figure its just generated
