apparently there is a conflict with their tv tuner software....it doesnt work right after updating to sp1 on xp...I followed their instructions on their website...but they were useless...anyone ever had this problem before, or know of a different program I can use for the tv tuner?

I never did like their TV Tuners. The All-In-Wonder series is very good though.

If you have the cash, you could get an slightly older AIW instead of the just a tuner.

Or buy a different tuner card like the MSI TV@nywhere, Zoltrix Genie Wonder Pro, Happauge TV-Radio, Asus TVFM, etc..

There are other programs you can use like Cyberlink VCR2.

Note: I tried it with AIW 7500 and it worked. But I prefer ATI MMC over VCR2 for some reason.

XP is infamous for messing with the ATi TV Wonder series tv cards. make sure in Device manager that all the drivers are ATi drivers and not AverMedia...

ok...power vcr worked, except no sound...why wont this thing work now??? it worked awesome before I had to reformat

I boycott ATI products.

They screwed me out of $150 in MIR on a $300 video card. I will never buy from them again.

what is the problem? What doesn't work right. What does it do/doesn't it do?

when I run the ati control panel, and hit tv...it tries to install the tv software...but it just locks up my whole computer...I updated my drivers, uninstalled everything, then reinstalled it....I am at my wit's end

Seriously, sell it to someone else and buy a better product with drivers that actually work under XP.

Isn't that a little extreme?

Why go through the aggravation of fighting with it? I learned to give up on certain things like that a long time ago.

Grab a  and listen to some :music: and buy a new tuner card.

Cheers!
