grr, my computer wont install anything!

Both MOHAA and JKII, I go through the install setup, and I get to the 'long' part, where it copies all the files and stuff, and ntohing happens... it sitsat 0% forever, and you can't push cancel, you have to Ctrl-Alt-Del it, and then I get the message:

An error occured while launching setup
The remote procedure call failed

Whaaaa? Someon help, please! I'm running XP Home. Thanks

Partner, if you have 512 MB of RAM installed and your computer is only showing 384 MB of RAM I would suspect your RAM.

Pop out one stick of that ram and see how it works with the other one. If you still can't install, try the other stick. Switch banks a couple times and swap out the sticks some more until it works. If it never gets to working then it must be something else.

BTW winxp blows. Win2k is better.
