Grr... Kettering pisses me off

I got a letter Friday saying that my Computer Science class had been dropped, and if i had any questions, call the professor. So i think, hey, they'll set me up, i need the class. I call him, he tells me, in no uncertain terms, "good luck."

Classes begin next week, and i only have 14 credits, instead of 18 now!!! those bastards!!!

and that class is probably a prerequisite for a whole bunch of others
so it sets you back a whole term

well, i am getting out of compsci as my major, screw the lack of classes! MIS, here i come! I have to talk to an academic advisor about the whole situation, so maybe they will let me swap majors without a hitch.

then you should go to grad school and get an MBA
good pay and you can do what you want if you play your cards right...

yeah, it seems no matter what you major in, your company will want you to major in business, so why not kill 2 birds with one stone?

that was my reasoning exactly

it's why I chose to get my bachelor's in BA.
I know I want to get at least a master's, most likely a doctorate so why not do something I actually like and will use instead of taking 12 programming classes or 2 years of calc and physics and then forgetting them later on. I already have the reasoning capability so if there's more to gain by taking another path, why not?

That sucks man, they've never done that to me but then again I'm Mechanical Engg. Just throw in a humanities class, although I would NOT recommend Society & Technology, but that's a another story alltogether
