Group Health Insurance?

If I go through a group plan for health insurance,
is the insurance company required to give me coverage even if I have
pre-exisiting conditions?

Also, is an individual insurance more expensive than a group insurance?

If you know of any groups that has easy requirements to join the group and
get group health insurance, please list them.

It varies with different plans. If you are able to join when the plan first starts, they may waive pre-existing conditions. If you are joining an existing program, you'll have to read the terms of the offer.

Unfortunately, YES! I'm a self-employed independent design engineer, and I wish there were some health plan I could afford. 🙁

Have you checked for professional organizations like IEEE? I know ACM has health insurance though it's not avaialble here in Washington state.

Thanks for the info.

I checked acm.org but I couldn't find any info on health insurance.

IEEE.org has health insurance but the rates weren't attractive to me.
