You have to perform ballet to vote? That is some liberal voter discrimination.CA voter here.
We use paper ballets.
They show up in the mail. We fill them out, and mail them back.
Really easy.

We have a bingo! More importantly they are not advocating for a mail in system, the “prevent voter fraud” crowd opposes mail in ballots. Is it the kind that only gets allocated in the hundreds for inner city ballot locations, thus limiting voting capacity for minorities? Those are great.
No, but the absentee mail-ins are what they want to get rid of entirely if they can, or at least severely limit the qualifications for receiving/using them.Yeah that isn't the kind of paper ballots they are talking about.
The scanners have been around for a long time, and might be what all the propaganda/lies about "voting machine hacking" was in regards to.I do the paper through the scanner ... that isn't a 'voting machine'? Huh. Who knew.
i remember there was one complaint about a touch-screen voting machine and the woman was like "it's giving me candidate B when i vote for candidate A. it's clearly been hacked"The scanners have been around for a long time, and might be what all the propaganda/lies about "voting machine hacking" was in regards to.
The electronic voting machines though (at least here) have touch screen displays with a stylus, and walk you through how to make your selections and then submit it.
I still asked to do the paper ballot at the polling station until I just started requesting the absentee ballots every election.
If you cannot do it, ask the gay couple next door for assistance. They will be happy to help. They are just soooo nice. You have to perform ballet to vote? That is some liberal voter discrimination.
How to tell us you didn’t bother to read the thread without telling us.Maybe AR hopes their example of paper ballots will influence NY and CA and others to do the same.
How does voting ID laws hurt minority groups? If it does not hurt White people, then it should not hurt minority groups as well.
Once again you forgot to do your research. In 2022 Gubernatorial elections here in New York, when I went vote, we had to fill in a paper ballot. The paper ballot was then inserted into a scanning machine. So in reality when talking about methods of voting, AR is in fact ahead of New York by using a fully electronic voting mechanism. Thus AR is influencing NY to go paperless, but if the ballot measure passes AR would loose its ability to influence.Maybe AR hopes their example of paper ballots will influence NY and CA and others to do the same.
The odd spellings, terms, and writing style confirm portal is some kind of non-native English speaker and most likely a non-US poster.Man this is such a hoot and a holler!
