Grounding issue ... weird! -- nevermind

OK. My computer will POST if I put the motherboard on a piece of cardboard ... only a video card and floppy drive are connected. It will not POST if I screw it in the case (only the four corners of the motherboard are screwed in and only those four corners have spacers). There are no loose screws touching the motherboard. I tried a lot of combinations of spacers and screws. I get no video ... no beeps ... no floppy seek. I believe something is shorted. But I have run out of possibilities. Please help. Thx.

BTW .. i have an ECS k7s5a w/ a geforce2 pro card, crucial 256MB 2100 RAM and generic case w/ 400W PS.

NM- i found the problem ... it was the video card not fitting in all the way.
