Ground shipping sped up?

Has any one noticed that UPS and FedEx ground shipping has been sped up.
For me it used to take about a week for the product to arrive, now it is just a couple of days. If anyone has an answer it would be nice to no what the deal is. Thanks.

USPS is pretty much two day mail. No one uses ground mail anymore when prority mails is pretty much the same cost.
When I wanna send something fast and cheap w/out tracking, I go for USPS over FedEx and UPS.

Ground mail == teh sux

if I get shipped to my office, its 1-2 days. But depends on the location.

That would be great news if it were true.

In my experience, USPS is faster than UPS/FedEx.

And FedEx is faster than UPS.

As far as speed...

USPS Priority Mail > DHL Ground > Fedex Ground > UPS Ground

The last several times I've shipped FedEx Ground its taken 3 days max to get there. One of them was even shipped to Canada.

UPS sucks. It took a week to get a package from CA to NC. Sigh, oh well. I could have upgraded if I wanted to I guess.

That's the std speed from East coast to West coast via UPS ground. It takes 5 biz days
