Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes

Hadn't heard anything about this myself til it popped up on Steam.

Grotesque Tactics* combines the features and clichés of Western and Asian console RPGs like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics and provides a highly addicting and entertaining change to the current, more serious role playing games. The game is focused on providing the fascination of the Strategy RPG genre, but also weaves a humorous storyline and plenty of amusing dialogue, poking fun at some of the most successful RPGs, such as Oblivion, Final Fantasy and Lord of the Rings.

I'm guessing the parody aspect will make it dumb or awesome. Not many reviews yet, if that matters. I can't really tell, but it might be a classic RPG at heart, despite the silliness.

Sounds interesting but it seems to get very mixed reviews. People either love it or hate it from what I've seen.

By RANDOM chance I was browsing the "top sellers" and "upcoming games" in steam last night at 2am, and came across this. It looks really cool but I haven't looked for any reviews yet.

3 person seems kind of odd instead of 4 man multiplayer, but we'll see. I'll probably get it if any other friend gets it or if a few ppl from AT get it.

there is, but it appears to be in german. from what I understand, the silliness is in the dialog and some characters. there is a giant white rabbit named Monty. Picking up mushrooms makes the sound you hear when you pick up a mushroom in Super Mario.

its ok, party-turn based strategy-silly humor with adventure elements cartoony graphics.
i'm a huge TBS fan, and i'd rather spend my TBS time on Civ5.

Oh crap, that was a different game. There was an "action rpg / tower d" with 3 man multiplayer.

I forgot this is the fft/FE one, and reviews seem mediocre ._.
