Good looking people get away with saying dumb things. Over time they get used to saying dumb things, and accept dumb things as normal. They dont develop a good sense of good/bad things to say. If I was to say something dumb, i'd get a "stfu moron". 😛
 
One of my closest friends is a beautiful blonde and "acts" dumb so that guys will do things for her. I also wonder sometimes if it is not a defense mechanism so that she won't have to deal with them on a personal level.

NOTE: She is by no means stupid. She holds a BS in Biology and Chemistry.
 
Perhaps it is a ruse in which people take them to be less intelligent than they are so they may rely upon their charisma or good looks to get what they want without being suspected of doing so. Of course some of them are just dumb as posts, just like any other group of people.

So very true, but with me she drops the act and is herself. Hence I know she is intelligent. Actually, I find the whole act annoying and not worth the effort. There are still many men who can not/will not accept an intelligent, beautiful female. ( I have first hand experience of this myself :frown: )
 
I've seen several cases where good looks = higher grades...

It's no secret... the prettier someone is, often the more perks and attention they get. An pretty person with a 79 average is more likely to be bumped up to a B than an ugly person with a 79 average.

They're not necessarily stupid, but very attractive people tend not to develop things like character, or a sense of humor, or toughness. They get what they want without having to grow up much. Of course, that all goes to hell once they hit their 30s.....
