I am getting married in the near future and I need help coming up with ideas for what to get my groomsmen. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
 
Our marrying friend gave us watches which was cool. Some give flasks - I don't know why but its a traditional gift for some reason. Maybe a good bottle of hooch?
 
I'm having a similar problem for a groomsmam who's 17 years old. He's going to college next year.... Not sure what to get him, but anything alchol related is not appropriate... any ideas??

I spent some coin, but I got each of my groomsmen something personal
mp3 player, fishing reel, usb key, Twins jersey, ghillie suit

Other classic ideas:

Money clips
Beer steins
Hip flasks
Mini Humidors
Poker Chips

I gave framed pictures I had taken to my 3 groomsman, each one context specific to match a trip I'd taken with then, or a sport I'd played with them. They all still hang in their houses to this day (4 years later).

 
I gave each of them a pair of sunglasses and bought one for myself too. We took a few GQ group pics with the sunglasses on. We are cool like that! 😛
 
i gave engraved silver belt buckles and cuff links and money clips.

i've gotten a huge swiss knife and a mont blanc pen(but i was the best man for that one).

Thanks guys. This is what I ended up ordering. I went with the Super Tool 200. In fact I tacked an extra one on there for me.
 
My brother gave all his groomsmen monogramed Swiss Army Knives.

*EDIT* And I think he said his brother-in-law gave his groomsmen monogramed 1 GB USB thumb drives.
 
I was thinking that a cool gift to give would be an autograph ball/bat/jersey of each guys favorite athlete, unless their favorite is someone way too expensive or rare. Just ask the guys who their favorites are and then search on ebay or check local sports shops.
 
I gave each of mine a nice Spyderco pocket knife. They still use them to this day (5yrs later). Most wedding party gifts are stupid and useless. Get them something they'd actually like and enjoy
