I noticed that with Grokster running, my desktop sometimes gets this tiny little button on the top left corner of my screen (the graphics resembles a button, but its very small (around 6x6 pixels). I cannot click it, and it just semi-randomly appears. Anyone have information to what this is? I suspect that is some spyware.

It's most likely Spyware, as it is a Kazaa clone, and Kazaa also has that problem with the stupid grey button-like thing. Pissed me off also. Why put that there? Ick.. like people wouldn't notice that. Use Morpheus, it's spyware-free (apparently).

I tried adaware, when I remove everything, both Kazaa and Grokster say that a "component is missing"

I also tried Morpheus, but lately it has some performance problems (namely with scripts slowing down the computer)

Grokster even looks just like Kazaa. Bunch of ad pimps.
