Griffin PowerMate for Mac on a PC (or a Pulsing Blue Desktop Toy)

Hey all! Anyone ever use this on a PC? Or on a Mac? Or at all? Here's the link: Griffin Powermate. I think it's pretty cool. Maybe I just like pulsing, blue, light up thingies. It's a good scroll and volume knob. I know some of you are saying, why not use the scroll wheel on the mouse? Eh, whatever. Moving on...

I actually pose a question to those who have used it in the past. I have a problem with the driver or something that makes it send a single click (of the button). The driver has this defaulted to "Mute Toggle" which drives me nuts while I'm studying and suddenly my music quits. The most recent PC driver for it is 1.5.2 and I'm running WinXP Pro. I have tried reinstalling the driver to no avail. I have set all the single click settings in all my programs to do absolutely nothing. I'm just plumb out of ideas. Thoughts? Suggestions? Ooos and Ahhs for a pulsing blue desktop toy?
