hi, i'm 19 and in college, and i already have tons of grey hair. i don't have enough to change the color of my head from a distance, but still enough. i'm deciding whether i should just keep it like this or dye it dark brown or something. my natural hair color is black. what do women prefer? the wise look of a man with grey hair or the resilient look of normal college dude hair?

From the other standpoint, I had one amusing experience with grey hair. I was in a crowded museum in Atlanta and saw this woman a couple rooms away with long blonde hair. I inched closer to get a closer look and possibly chat her up when I realized that her blonde hair was actually grey under the museum lights, and she was about 65! Yikes!

I've always heard that women prefer a little bit of grey at the temples, but as someone mentioned above, maybe that's because of the greater likelihood of disposable income! ;)

IMO for some it is very fitting even at a young age, but for others it just makes them look much older than they are.

Depends on how it looks on you.

I'm so surprised that there is a large amount of posters with this issue, I wonder if it's stress related.

I wouldn't say grey hair is hot - then again, I wouldn't say it is a turn off, either.

That salt & pepper coloring can be very interesting and distinctive in a young person. It would certainly make you stand out from the crowd. Whereas a bad dye job done at home can look awful. With a short, neat cut, I think a bit of grey hair would look fine.
