I thought they were going to walk—wasn’t there significant grounds for an entrapment defense, or was I reading the wrong sources again?

The treason fans are despondent I guess, not happy at all their fellow incel losers turned domestic terrorists are looking at real time in the slammer.

So funny to hear magats rant about the FBI. Why, I haven't seen this kind of hypocritical bullshit projection from repugs since they got caught weaponizing IRS audits, just like they accused Obama of doing. If this news upsets you, you're in a cult.

Fuck your feelings, is the phrase I believe? Maybe start doing that often too, should help you deal with what's in the mail for Team Treason.

They will appeal but I figure they will lose that. Playacting? The message will be you better find a safer way to find drama in your life.

One of their co-conspirators went to authorities when it became too much for him. The convicted are guilty of plotting the kidnapping and murder of Michigan's governor. It's plain. Boys will be boys? I don't buy it. Too much of this right wing looney stuff going on in the USA. They have to send a message that the consequences will be severe. Same with the Jan. 6 insurrectionists. And I hope they charge and convict Trump of insurrection. Convicted he can't hold political office again, a big win for America. Just preventing him from running is a huge win.

Kidnapping, murder, and...weren't they planning to eat her?

Yeah, that isn't a case of, "boys will be boys." That's some sadistic, heinous shit.

This was their second trial. They were initially tried with two other defendants. The jury acquitted the other two, but hung for these two defendants. They were re-tried and now have been convicted.

Separately, there are eight other defendants still being prosecuted in state court.

I am afraid sportage is correct.
I very much doubt Trump will ever be more than a one term former president and I am pretty sure that that term will stick! If he runs, the people figuring out just how to oppose him will have so much to choose from in arguments against voting for him it's positively ridiculous. His prospects are rotten. Not to say he won't have his base but electable he is not.

What we don't want is a Trump worshiper winning the White House. His thrall over the Republican Party has to end.

What you edited in is what I was going to comment...I doubt Trump himself would win another term, but I can't discount the regressive idiocy in the US at this point.

I'm more worried about someone like Deathsantis who could still be sucking Trumpist dick and taking us 'back' even further, and doing it more effectively than Trump, because of his incompetency. There are plenty of smarter assholes who are still using the pull of being a Trump supporter.

I think a major problem in the US is the pendulum aspect of the presidency, swinging from D to R, R to D, and so it goes.

Trump was a disaster for progressive politics. I don't know that there has ever been another president who was so divisive and destructive to America. He was Putin's wet dream. McConnell and DeSantis give me the creeps, McCarthy too.

You are a traitor and you support terrorists. Your mind is so far gone from right wing propaganda that you sympathize with other terrorist traitors without even giving it a second thought.
I'm not supporting terrorists dipshit and research what happened. I'm sure you are more than happy to support the Summer Of Love and BLM which is by definition a domestic terrorist organization. There was something like a dozen informants working under the direction of the FBI to facilitate a kidnapping plot. It's a problem when the FBI starts recruiting violent people to engage in violent activities in order to make arrests, and it's also a problem that 3 FBI agents in the investigation won't be available for the trial.

THIS is the whole point....
The core of America "IS" progressive. Life itself is progressive.
Progressive is the desire to better ones self, better ones surroundings, better ones future. Progressive is a duck hatching from an egg, the embryo then progresses into escaping the egg, then progresses into a chick, then progresses into an adult duck. Well, you get the idea. :p

To progress is to grow. Progressives grow. Conservatives resist growth. They want things to remain the same. They want that embryo to remain an embryo and never escape the egg. All of society is progressive. We have progressed with our well being, progressed with our healthcare, progressed securing our safety, we have progressed in everything around us, and.... progressed in giving society a better future.

Conservatives resist growth. They want gays to remain invisible to society like that unhatched embryo, conservatives want blacks to remain invisible to society and CERTAINLY NEVER to run for president of the United States America, god forbid.
Conservatives want transgender to remain invisible and especially in the classroom.

To be alive is to be progressive, to progress, yet people like Ron Desantis believe they can stop the progression in society by enacting laws and rules and empowering hate and firing teachers and school boards. And this only pertains to education. We haven't touched on the workplace or religion or the military or every other aspect of society where people like DeSantis i.e. conservatives seek to halt progression as well.
Progression also equals acceptance, and conservatives are also against acceptance. Acceptance of any kind....

What I really fear is because so many in this country seem downright furious and explode in rage at little things, any brown foreigner or Black person will easily become their target.

I could see DeSantis or someone who thinks like him tapping into perennial White Resentment and turning the news media against them much like the New York Post and Fox News are doing to Black street criminals. Just claim the overhead is too high, investors and owners are peeved and lay off workers who are talented, but even handed.

Not all Blacks were hitting defenseless elderly ones and Asian Americans with bricks, their fists or other objects in New York City. Some unfortunates got tossed onto subway tracks. It reinforces the notion that Blacks are violent, can't be trusted and it's best if they're all locked away someplace.

Isn't this what Ferris Bueller actor Ben Stein is always grousing about, that poor Blacks or Blacks in general, dislike the land they were born in? To Stein, Blacks are pathetic and self-defeating and he has millions of people who agree with him. To him, Blacks are the real problem in this country.

Video clips of street attacks, flash mobs hitting retailers and increasing homelessness will convince those already biased their feelings are correct.

If Trump is allowed to run, I bet he will win a few primaries. In this country, there has never been an effective opponent against Hatred except the Judiciary and Congress, which defended Blacks' Right to Exist in the second half of the 20th Century. I can't trust either now.

On Thursday, a woman who claimed to be Mexican, but born in the U.S., attacked South Asians in a Texas mall, claiming there are too many Indians here. People are losing their friggin' minds.

Normally, an incident like this would not warrant national exposure. But in light of what's going on and knowing how Dinesh D'Souza dislikes Black people, (ironic, isn't it), I could see him adding his hateful rhetoric to discussions on race. I really think this country could elect a Fuehrer.

Because I believe most of basic facts have been covered, I'll post a link.

I am positive you guys can find other news on this incident:
