Hey everyone. Finally got off my lazy but, and started cracking. Thank dennilfloss for having assimilated me.

Odd, I started 3 hours ago, and I was going at 2 Mkeys/sec....now it seems to have slowed down.....typical???

Speed will vary depending on how much other activity is happening on your system. The client gives up CPU cycles when other programs have a need, so it'll slow down a bit. Welcome aboard!😀

Mkey/sec is a function of processor type and speed. An easy place to figure out what your machine should be doing is here. This is with nothing else running though, so if you have other programs running it will be slower.

Are some packets larger than others? It seems that its been working on this one for quite some time. I dont have any other programs running.

The packet size varies from 1 to 32 work units, with a corresponding increase in time needed to crunch it.

Make sure you aren't running any 3D screen savers, they will suck your CPU right up. To check your PC for what processes are running (in Windows) I use TaskInfo2000. You can see what is eating up your CPU with that if you find it slowing down.

Is the Pope catholic? I may be an honourary captain in the Federation but I let them do their own recruiting. As for the Nekkid Ones, they don't need any help from me because they have SuperAdul! 🙂
