LOL, sitting here sipping free coffee, surfing the web at top speed ! The city is amazing, nothing subtle about it. NYC kinda just rises up and smacks you in the face. So many tall buildings ! the drivers here are nutz, it's like a big free for all !

We saw Central Park, Radio city music hall, strolled down 5th avenue, had dinner at an outside cafe of some brewery..not to self the seasonal voyage beer sampler is great but not if you want to stay awake late to sight see.Lol, I was out cold by 8pm :)

having a good time, wish you were here :)

i know i could not afford much besides a "knock off" purse on the street, but i still think it would be sooo fun to go in all the $$$ shops to window shop!
NYC is a place i have never been.

man I am jealous.. I was just there 2 weekends ago. I LOVED IT!

but I agree, NY is very expensive.. I think for that trip I dropped $1200 in airfare, hotel, eating, shopping, etc. That is after I share the hotel with 2 other people.

Dinner at nobu next door: $50 each
Dinner at steak house: $75 each
Watch spamalot: $80 each
it keeps adding up!

I wouldn't live anywhere else! (I live in the Bronx, not the greatest area, but it's ok.)

Geekbabe, you should visit the Bronx Zoo and New York Botanical Gardens, they are right across the street from each other.

NYC isn't only about Manhattan. ;)

you should go during November some year and see the Rockettes Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall. Plus it's all decorated for Christmas then and still reasonably warm to walk around. You could also ice skate in Central Park or Rockefeller Center, and there are gentlemen's cabs all over for a nice site seeing ride through the city.
