So, i got my wireless network up and running and my new Dell Axim set-up and then my wireless router crapped out on me... 🙁

So, I took the liberty of "sharing" one of my neighbors' unencrypted wireless connections for the purpose of posting...

I haven't bothered taking advantage of the powerline feature. I have hooked up two PCs via ethernet and 1 via wireless.

Turn on WEP and you don't need to worry. A PDA surfing from a couch will hardly drop your Counter-Strike ping times...

I have a dickhead next door neighbor that wardrives my wireless connection. I caught him using his laptop in his car after my wireless router went nuts (no client cards were active), and I walked outside and saw the dumbass sitting there. I had to switch to 128bit encryption, which slows my transfer rate down. So far he hasn't broken it :|

You could always try another security script:

10 wardriver detected
20 goto door
30 get baseball bat
40 smash wardrivers car and laptop to bits
50 watch him run
60 configure router to only accept MAC address from your rigs
end of file
