So far I've been to Primos, Ghost Bar, Republic and O Bar.

O bar and Ghost bar are the newest trendiest places. If you're staying downtown, I would just stay around those.

Depending on how old\single you are, you might check out Duke's off 75 by SMU. There's also a ton of nice bars up the dallas tollway in Addison, again depending on your age\singleness. Check out the Sherlock's on 75 and the one on the Dallas Tollway in Addison.

Dallas also has the best gay dance club and best gay bars in the nation, near Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs, if you're into that.

Tons of decent stuff up and down Greenville. I liked Milk Bar and Manhattan Bar - I moved from DFW a year ago so I am just assuming they are still open.

Sherlocks is definitely a good place. I used to go to the one in Arlington (where I am from) all of the time, but I've been to the one in Addison (?) a couple of times and it's good. There was a Flying Saucer up there that is pretty good, but not sure if it is still open.
