No work until January 2, 2006. And I'll still carry vacation time into the New Year. Such is life working for the German government!

If all goes as planned, I'll depart the USA for Munich on Tuesday, bound for the quiet Austrian town of Hallstatt where I will spend a week in the Alps!

*Takes a deep breath!*

I hope to have some good ones...as long as the sun shines!

And we'll see if I miss having a good 100mm+ telephoto!

Well, my week-long vacation to Germany/Austria has almost come to its end!

I arrived last Wednesday in Munich, spent a day there, then traveled to Hallstatt via Salzburg. The afternoon of Christmas day, a friend of mine picked me up and took me to his home town of Admont, Austria. You can#t imagine the winter wonderland I have had here, and I look forward to sharing the pics with ATOT upon my return.

I travel by train tomorrow afternoon, after a morning of skiing in the Alps, to Munich. I fly back to ATL on Wednesday!
