I dont think that was the point AGAINST the tax cuts. The point against it was to balance the budget and not get into more debt................. Everyone wants to pay zero taxes but the govt does have needs. Besides how else is it going to fund the war machine for all you conservatives

Too bad for Bush, these tax cuts don't kick in till almost 2010. If the economy sucks this bad in 2004, Bush won't have to worry about second term
