FYI,

I just got 20% off of Arkham Origins, which is STEAM activated, and for the same price as what Steam has from their holiday sale, using the following key:

GMG20-ZB5D1-93X49

I bit on the assassins creed deals. Never used greenmangaming before. Its a bummer they are not as integrated with steam as gamefly. It seems you have to download and install the game before you have an active key for your steam library. Blah

I haven't bought anything from GMG in a while but they always gave me a Steam key in the past. I've never had to download a game from GMG themselves.

With 20% off that's $40?

It $24 on Amazon right now and registers in Steam.(Was $24 in Steam's Holiday sale on Daily deal the other day too) Was $20 on Amazon last Month.

I'm sure the 20% is great for games GMG has on sale. ;)

Yup - I got a game key right away, and added it via steam.

I'm sure the 20% is useful for other games GMG sells.

I got 20% off of $24.99 during GMG's sale on AO yesterday... got it for $20.

I received the keys for the games I bought but they all came back as invalid when I tried to register them on steam. I even tried removing the hyphens. I also did some research and they had some instances where you have to install the game and get to the Uplay, register the key then at some point later they push those eligible keys to Steam after which you can register them there. I like to keep all my games on Steam so I hope they will eventually work there.

Hmmm... Weird. Didn't have that problem with any games I've bought through them. Sorry you've been having those issues...

From heianjodan's post, it sounds like it's specific to ubi games which also go through uplay. My friend had a similar issue. It's not specific to gmg, as they just supply you a key. People will run across similar issues with keys given from oem's when you buy video cards with game bundles.
