Greenbacks on the way out. New $20 bill in green, peach & blue!?!

Repost.... But on a side note, i think its a good idea.... In fact, i think the color should be stronger and on the whole bill... Just keep the $1 the same.

If youve ever had Euro's before, you soon realize telling money by the color makes it easier...

I give it the thumbs up. When they first started redesigning the bills I was alittle adverse to changing it but then I realized the new ones were much better.

When they redesigned the currency a few years back I found myself watching cash more closely because the 20's looked too much like 50's.A little color won't be a bad thing.

Figured this was probably a repost. Oh, well.

I've traveled extensively and most countries, if not all other than the US, use a variety of colored bills or multiple colored bills. That's one of the reasons I like the traditional greenback because it remains unique amongst the world's money. And I looked at the poll results on that page and it seems like most people like the new bills, so I'm definately in the minority on this. Well, in a few decades I'll be dead and they can print pink bills for all I care. 😛

They are going to have so many colours soon that I can coordinate them with my shoes/purses! 😉

<-- prefers the ole green thanks anywho

Why have all notes the same colour and looking very similar?

It's much easier to have distinctive notes/coins to allow people to work out what the heck is what.
