Green screen on my television today

Any ideas? I have my charter digital cable box hooked to my receiver via hdmi.

Yesterday it works, today I turn on the cable, green screen. I can change inputs on my receiver, and my xbox 360 works fine.
When I am on HDMI 1 (my cable) and I try to access the menu from the remote, nothing on screen appears, just a green screen.

Any suggestions?

Which menu are you trying to bring up when on HDMI 1? (cable, right?... as opposed to receiver or tv)

Does your cable box have a reset button?

Well I looked up the manual and didn't see anything about a reset button for the whole unit.

(last time I was trying to figure out someone's similar problem a reset solved it... but one of my first questions was whether it was just the cable or all sources and they told me that all their sources didn't work rather than just the cable so I spent about an hour on the phone with them trying to figure out what was messed up with the receiver only to find out later that their DVD player and VCR worked fine through it and it was just a cable reset problem)

Some things to try
-plug the HDMI cable straight into the TV rather than through the receiver to rule out a receiver problem
-try using component cables instead to see if that works
-unplug / replug in the power cord... I'm not sure if that would reset it

HDCP handshaking issue? Cable boxes are awful with those.
