After 20 years, the Green Monster is being put out to pasture. After sifting through no less than 20 different vehicles, I was smitten by a freakin' purple Town Car! We wrote it off at first because of the color, but after looking at it several more times, I fell in love with it. Mostly it's condition made the sale. Paid top dollar, but a very fair price for it's immaculate state.Whoever owned it must have been a fanatic. This one may not last as long as our '77, but it's in better shape from the start. Damn, I still can't believe I bought a purple car! :Q

Oh strike that, it's Amethyst, not purple.

It's a 1994, with 70,000 miles. Alloy rims are PERECT! I still can't believe how it was maintained like this. Not a single ding or scratch anywhere. It was detailed by the dealer, but so were most of the cars I looked at. Just awesome, I HAD to buy it! It was taken in on trade only a couple days ago. Just hit the lot today. It's only an Executive series, but has a powered moon roof and tons of bells and whistles, which all work, of course. Here's the engine compartment.

Edit: Keep in mind this is Ohio and it spent it's whole life here. Can't believe the condition of the chassis!

Aye, but you don't know how much I paid! :D

Actually, the price was $6,600. Top dollar for that ride according to NADA and Edmunds... TOUGH! I love it! Anybody want to go cruising? :)
