it's the encore of the sale so there's about 22 hours left to get in on the deals.

there's also a big summer sale going on at gamesplanet (UK site). If you convert to USD there are some really good deals at their sale also. Might need to pay via paypal or something like a capital one card to avoid foreign transaction fees. Bitcoin might work also. they have a couple of the lucas arts indiana point & click adventure games on sale for cheap right now. Activate on Steam also.

Are they a trusted site? Just asking cause my virus protection keeps going off any time I visit that site or browse through any of there pages. Good deals to so I will wait till I hear back from some one letting me know if they can be trusted. Also are these steam downloads or physical copies of games or game downloads directly from there site?

GMG has been around for a while. They bought playfire (social gaming network) a while back. They also publish games now. I think it's only been crappy indie games so far.

Gamesplanet is owned by Metaboli, which is a French company. They've been around for a while. The also own gametap. they rarely have a good sale like this. They have regional sites, which actually have different prices.
https://de.gamesplanet.com/ German
https://uk.gamesplanet.com/ UK
https://fr.gamesplanet.com/ French

for example on the german site doom 3 bfg edition was <$3 but on the UK site it was something like $6. it's kind of a hassle to convert the units to USD so if you want easy deals i'd stick to GMG. Everything on GMG is usually a rest of world (row) steam key so it'll work anywhere. Not 100% sure about Gamesplanet.

They will have an encore day though so if you're interested in the indiana jones point & click games I'd pick them up. Last time they were on sale for 50% off was like 2 years ago or more.

Meh, nothing I want and the others I may play are still more than I'd pay.

They are still having the sale.. its not over yet? Call me crazy but I think I just might grab that Half life 2 and Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 deal. Will these work on steam or are these the steam versions just on sale through there site? Anyways I had these games years ago on my 360 and now I think I would like to do another play through with these babies on 1080p settings. Also kinda eying up that doom 3 BFG edition. Never played that one. Anyways thanks Op on the sweet deals..

If you get Half Life 2, I highly recommend you also try the cinematic mod. It has really amazing visuals, without changing the game so it remains as good as ever but now looks amazing:

Cinematicmod is reason enough to buy Half Life 2 and replay it:

It's just the key, it activates on GOG and works just as if you bought it at GOG. There is nothing shady about it.
