Green light on motherboard

Anyone know what that green light on my motherboard is? It used to light up but not anymore...and now my system doesn't boot 🙁 Anyone know?

Thanks.

So I'm trying to troubleshoot this thing and when I power on my motherboard the green LED flashes and then stays unlit....and the computer beeps for about 5 seconds, silence, 5 second beep, silence, etc...

hrmmmm...any ideas?

in general, when your system has a series of long beeps and pauses, it means bad memory or no memory. make sure it is securely plugged in all the way in the sockets. if you have checked that, take out the memory and try it with a different stick (if you have one handy).

Do you think a bad stick of memory would cause the power light to not come on? The system fans still spin up and all...

Yes, bad memory would cause exactly the symptoms you are experiencing. Try another stick. Borrow one if need be. If your fans are spinning, it's not your PS. Process of elimination.
