Basically what Green Dragon is. Well, basically anyway.

I guess in a way you could see it like that... but it would be like soaking tobacco in alcohol to extract the nicotine and drinking it vs. drinking the water thats acted as a filter for the cigarette smoke. Yuck. The water filters out a lot of the heavy tars and other nasties that are in the plant(s) themselves and that are formed when anything organic is burned.

To the opposite effect, the alcohol only extracts the things that are soluble in alcohol - which just happen to be the things you want. 😉 You throw the lump of organic mush away.
