Green Athlon XP 1600??

A friend of mine just purchased an Athlon XP 1600 from NCIX.com (Canadian Site).
To our surprise, the packaging is green!
A few sites have indicated that the Green packaging is due in May or June of this year.
Did this fellow get an early green XP 1600?

yepe, new athlons are green now. they have changed something I think.

If you mean the PCB, then mine is green too. I bought it from newegg about 3 weeks ago.

The only difference between a brown Athlon XP and a green Athlon XP is the color itself. The core is exactly the same (according to AMD).

The green package is infused with spinach to give the XP pop-eye like strength.
