Greece was simply a target economy for the machinations of the banking elite.

If you think the big banks fucked this country with the Ownership Society, wait til you see how they treat Greece.

Free market world economy in a deregulated international banking environment, right?

Yes, but if you knowingly swim with sharks, and get bit, is it just the fault of the sharks? A shark will be a shark; that's all it knows.

It's always nice when somebody confirms your confirmation bias, right?

You're a conspiracy crackpot, you just don't post as many crazy links about chemtrails as Stewox.

Please. You retreat into irrational belief. Debt creation always benefits bankers in the short run, so they'll create as much as possible regardless of the risks to investors or to the banking system itself. And that's just what they've been allowed to do in the run up to these Crises. They've been allowed to profit from creating unsustainable debt all around the globe and to foist off responsibility onto governments & the people.

It plays out over & over again in the S&L crisis, the Mexican currency crisis, Asian, Russian & Argentine financial crises, The LTCM affair & finally this, the collapse of the ownership society & associated phenomenon in Ireland, Spain, Portugal & Greece. Who's up next? Ukraine. Bankers profit every millimeter of the way. They win by creating losers.
