you are idiots to imply that Bush would even consider something like this. Your boy Clinton took many more steps against the movie industry and game industry than Bush has (which btw is 0). Also, if I recall, it was another fellow Democrat, the wife of Algore, that started the whole PMRC. Or maybe you guys are too young to remember. Get your heads out of your ass and look at the big picture. Games are the furthest thing from Bush's mind right now (<-setting myself up on this statement).

True dat. One of Tipper Gore's biggest goals was to further restrict media violence, including gaming. As the First Lady, she would have taken many more steps for restrictions than Bush will in a lifetime. He's happy with the fooseball:)

I think it's on IGN.com also. I was looking at reviews and stuff and I read up on this a week or so ago. Pretty freakin stupid... Those poor olympic visitors will be in for a shock.

The man is right here, I bet if Gore/Liberman were running this country they still wouldn't have prevented 9/11, but they would have prevented GTA3.

Court threw out the case, considering overturning the law

New news
That's great! Hopefully they'll also give a hard stare to those lawmakers who voted for that illegal law.

Good news! :)

BTW, with video game sales now outpacing movie sales, there is little chance that any law like this would ever occur here in the US, Constitutional ramifications nonwithstanding.
