Greatest movie scenes evar

So what do you guys consider the pinnaces of acting as of current?

My pick would the The Silence of the Lambs. The scene in the mortuary where they document and photograph the body pulled out of the river. I have not seen better art of acting than what Jodie Foster did there. Bar none.

Overall:

Kevin Spacey was pretty awesome in American Beauty.

DeNiro in Taxi Driver. "You talkin' to me?"

Hayden Christiansen in the Star Wars prequels (kidding).

Adrian Brody in The Pianist.

The chariot race in "Ben-Hur". No digital effects-real guys, real horses, real dangerous.
Amongst others.

A Few Good Men: Cruise and Nicholson court room scene
Glengarry glenn ross: Alec Baldwin monologue scene
On the Waterfront: Marlon Brando monologue
Casablanca: Bogart and Bergman at the airport
Gladiatory: Crowe monologue in the colisseum (not really superb acting as much as it's just pure badass)
The Devil's Advocate: Pacino monologue (movie wasn't that great but I really liked Pacino's monologue near the end)

Having trouble thinking of more though there's definitely plenty more out there. A lot of the good acting movies aren't really defined by 1 specific scene and a lot of hte movies with memorable scenes arent carried only by good acting.

Almost any scene from "The flight of the Phoenix" James Stewart Richard Attenborough and Hardy Kruger were fantastic in that movie..

I always thought this from "The Lives of Others" was good (great movie) but I expect most of you have never seen it.

to set it up: the stasi is spying on a playwright, his apartment is bugged and his phone calls are monitored 24/7 and the stasi officer seen in the clip is, iirc, considered one of their better agents, which is why he is given the lead on this assignment.
