Notice that the ad says to rebuild the engine every 10,000 kilometers, not miles. That roughly works out to having to rebuild the engine every 6214 miles!

I'd have a heart attack if I had to rebuild the engine in my car every 6000 miles. Talk about expensive to own 😀

well, it is a RACE engine only.....so what is the average length (in KM) for a race that this veh would particpate in?

It's a race car with a race engine. I don't believe JGTC races are endurance events either, which makes me think 6,000 is a high number (or just a figure based on street use of a race engine... but then, I doubt this car is street-legal anyway). For those questioning the price, this is a rare model of F1, in race trim. It's certainly worth more than a standard McLaren.

Regular Saleen S7 runs 750K new. And those are pretty darn close to the GTS class racers that have been spaking my poor ol' Vipers... Also, these aren't street legal most of the times. There are limits to the amount of HP and emissions for street vehicles that don't apply to race cars. But it would be nice to buy and go to Watkins Glenn of Mid-Ohio... Sears Point would be nice too...

Wow....that interior is insane tho, too many buttons, even for a hardware geek like myself. Just as long as the pedals are in the same place...🙂

(Speaking of nice cars, saw a few on the road today...Viper GTS, convertible M3, convertible Aston-Martin...it's nice living in a fairly affluent city)
