Ok, so I wake up every day at 4am to beat the traffic to work only to find some a$$hat decides to park his car this way blocking everyone from entering or exiting the complex.

I gave the cops a call and they issued him a ticket but I was late to work 30 minutes. I knocked on the dude's door but nobody answered. I then went to the house of the owner of the other car and didnt get an answer. Thank God I had that person's phone number and she moved her car but who parks their car like that???

Update 6/4/08

So I was leaving for work again today and the guy parked on the side of the exit/entrance again but atleast he's along the curb this time. I notified the HOA and they are taking care of the issue.

OMG seriously. If thats the only entrance/exit to your complex, that is a SERIOUS hazard in case of evacuation or fire. Would have loved to see a 20 ton fire truck plow through that asshole's POS

haha..that's what I was thinking. I'd never do it, but I love to think what would happen if I called the fire dept just to see them plow through that shit

I could have gotten around that easily enough.

Hook a tow strap up to my Xterra and just yank the shit out of it. It'll move. Probably pull the bumper off in the process too, but oh well.

OP should have went into the complex and pulled the fire alarm.

He lives in an apartment complex or something. It would be hard not to notice which car belongs with which person and lives in what apartment. He knocked on the dudes door and he didn't answer, so he called the cops and they gave him a ticket.

He knew the other persons car (the one parked straight) and called him/her and they came out and moved their vehicle.

Why not just driver over the lawn?

Uh... cause there is likely a row of bushes or garden in the way or he drives a low clearance vehicle and he would of bottomed out going up the small curb. Not too mention the other car, street sign, and tree in the way...

i must say that the OP handled this entirely wrong. theres so many much better ways that could have been explored for ATOTs benefit!
