Great... roommate's 2 (3?!) friends are in his room doing it

Thought that title would get your attention. Well guess who?? :disgust:

Roommate left 3 hours ago to go study at a friend's house. He left two guys and a girl here, all three around 17-18 years old. Maybe a year or two younger for one of them. Well they are in his room next door to mine and have some movie in the VCR and rap music going at the same time. The bed is squeaking with a questionable and unnerving pattern. These kids seem to be just like the roomie is- wannabe thug Enimem punks. Anyway, I decide to park my butt right next to their door in the adjacent bathroom with the door open 'washing my face'. One of them comes out every so often to go smoke on my balcony or use the restroom, so I decided to lie in wait to find out wtf was going on in there. So after 10 minutes, the locked door opens (dark inside) and one guy slips out through the crack, sees me looking at him from the open bathroom door 'scrubbing my face', and says "oh you're in the bathroom my bad <shut.. lock.>"... Hmmm...

So I wait a few minutes, go up to the door, and knock. Nobody answers. I knock harder- the movie and music get turned down. STILL no answer. I knock very hard and say "Hellooooo!!!" and finally after a good 10 seconds, the door opens. I didn't walk in, but said "hey, I'm done in the bathroom... what are you guys doing in here?" One guy standing by the desk says,

"um, nothing.. just watching a movie.. do you want us to turn it down?"
"how do you watch a movie with rap music playing louder than it?"
<shrug>
Dude walks out into the bathroom, and that's when the door closed... from a dude peeking cautiously around it! He was hiding behind the door! I didn't get a chance to say "hey, wtf? what are you doing, pal?" Maybe next time he comes out- I'm questioning.

The girl is sloppily dressed, the room is a wreck and dimly lit. I think I know exactly what's going on in there, and maybe more than I want to know. Three underage kids in a three-way?! That was 15 minutes ago- the bed is now squeeking again. Ugh- not like I'm going to call the cops, unless they're lighting it up in there (wouldn't be surprised), but I had to vent. AGAIN.

As someone who LIVES here and is trying to study for an exam in 3 hours, do I have the right to knock on the door again, point blank, and find out what's going on?

NO. NO PICS. :disgust: :p

I actually think it's just two- the other guy is just watching the movie or wacking off to them or something, I dunno.

You got a dumb room-mate. Kick the kids out...it's your house too. They have no right to be there unless your room-mate is present. Besides, if any are underage, you could also be liable for anything that may be going on.

Hidden video, then distribute it on Kazaa. :)

OR

Call the cops on them, then take pictures of the whole thing... one of those "Priceless" jpegs that're running around the Net.

One of them just went out to the balcony to smoke again, so guess who lies in wait for them in the kitchen? After 10 minutes, this guy I had never seen before- big baggy North Carolina blue ballpark shirt and shorts comes back in and is startled to see me in there with the lights on. He looks stoned and nervous. He also looks like a going-nowhere idiot, but I digress. He asked immediately and politely if I wanted the balcony door locked, and told him, yeah, lock it. I said with a stern not-taking-sh1t-from-nobody look,

"Excuse me, do you mind telling me what you guys have been in there doing for the last 6 hours?"
"We've been waiting for Mike, he was only supposed to be gone for 2 hours."
"I know- what have you been doing for for the last 6 hours?"
"Just chillin'.."
"You guys are acting awfully suspicious and wierd."
<confused, nervous look> "Suspicious?"
"Yeah, I'm hearing wierd noises, you're listing to a CD and watching a movie at the same time, hiding behind the door.." <interruputed>
"Hiding behind the door?"
"Yeah, when I knocked on the door to tell the other dude I was done in the bathroom, you were hiding behind the door."
<procedes to tell me this excaserbated b.s. story of how he was 'opening up the door' for him, etc>
"When is Mike supposed to get back?"
<almost frightful now> "I don't know man! He was supposed to be here two hours ago!"
<just gave him 'the look' for two seconds, and walked back into the kitchen> "Alright."

He then said something that sounded like an apology/excuse/reason/plead but it was unintelligable since I was now rummaging through the Tupperware acting busy. SINCE that happened while I've been writing this, the girl came out and asked if I had any cigarettes!! (wtf?!) "No. I don't smoke." She says, "oh, hehe, ok", smiles, and walks back into the room. Then the two guys come out 3 minutes later and ask where the nearest pay phone is (good- they're too scared to ask me for my phone or cell phone, which they know I have). I tell them the Texaco 5 blocks away. They say thanks and walk out the door. Girl is still in the room, but at least it's quiet for once.

<sigh> :disgust:

Hey, should I lock the front door (they don't have a key)? They might get upset if the girl is still here though... but they're puny and scared. Don't think they'd do anything. Again, they're like, 17 years old. Mike has even told me if they were too loud that I could just tell them to shut up- he's been semi-ok lately.

Girl just walked out of room onto balcony... I could lock both doors and end it all! :D

Oh yeah, and all this is distracting me from a big test I'm trying to pull an all-nighter for that is at 8:00a. I decided not to lock the front door- they might wig out and think 'hostage situation' or something... or am I overblowing it?

Gross guys... if I locked the front door, I don't want them going to the campus cops and making up some story that I've kidnapped some girl and they can't get in. Knowing my roommate and these friends of his, the girl might even play along with that. Ugh, I don't want to draw this out to ridiculous preportions...

I bet if you asked them to turn the movie and music down, they'd stop having sex cause they'd be too embarassed to let you hear the noises.

Well, it's already turned down and the two guys left to go use a pay phone or something. I dunno. Just trying to figure out what to do next. Actually, I'm just studying what I can in the next two hours. :disgust: Still not sure if I should lock the door or not.

Update- I locked the front door. :) 'They hadn't come back in awhile and I thought they were gone for good... I always lock the door at night.' I'm going to close my door and pretend I'm asleep now, but I'll be here.

Heh, I know how you feel. back when I lived in a student-apartment, by roommate had a girl with him when he got back from a bar (about 3am saturday night). I was still up watching a movie in my room, but they thought I was asleep. So they start to go at it. The sound-proofing was REALLY bad there, so I could hear everything! It was funny for like 10 seconds, then it got rather awkward. The girl was moaning and the roommate kept on saying "be quiet or you'll wake my roommate up". At that point I felt like shouting "no need, I'm already wide awake" ;).

The best part was... My roommate was taking care of his friends dog at that time. So while they were doing it, the dog decides to jump in too :D! The girl just said "This is the first time I'm being worked on by both the man and his dog" :Q:Q!

What? They're underage, not paying residents or college students, and my roommate isn't here- I have no idea who they are? And a paying resident preparing for a big test in the morning shouldn't show any anger or grief? Please, dude. It's as much of my business as I want to persue.

Also, I've turned out my bedroom lights so the window is dark- if they're pounding on the door to get back in, well tough noogies. I'm listening to my Discman wearing headphones. I can't hear anything. If she lets them in and they're pissed, fine by me- my door is locked. They couldn't do anything anyway. The girl meanwhile is quiet behind the door in my roommate's room. Who knows, who cares- all I know is that it's finally quiet and those *unknown* guys aren't coming back in my apartment. Good riddance.

Don't you AT guys get any and do you have to annoy those that do?

Seems to me like you didn't sudy very hard anyway if you have the time to lie in wait for them and try to harass them ....
